The Purposeful Summary task is a “writing skills” assignment designed to instruct and give you practice in the essential skill of writing persuasively while summarizing the work of another author.

It’s a major Non-Portfolio assignment that will contribute to the 20% portion of your Final Grade. (Portfolio 75%, Non-Portfolio 20%, Participation 5%).
