Money seems to have a big role in our society; without it, nothing can be accomplished. Money is valuable in different ways, physical or not. In today’s society, it is necessary to have faith in the government and in the banking system; if not, we would need to hide all our money around the house. I have no clue what happens in the banks, or how they take care of my money. I always thought money was simple; I either have some or I don’t—that’s it. However, being introduced to this assignment, the Yap Fei, US gold, French francs, Brazilian cruzeros, and debit accounts now seem similar. The money is never seen when transferred. When paid, we aren’t handed cash or a physical check, instead, we have faith that the money has been directly transferred to our bank account.
