Opening 1:

What if I told you for the majority of your life you’ve been lied too. For generations doctors, parents, and teachers have been telling teenagers and young adults that at least 8 hours of sleep is needed in order to be fully energized for the next day, these are lies. In fact a person doesn’t need an extended sleep in their daily routine at all. Studies show that an effective 30 minute to an hour sleep periodically throughout the day gives a person more benefits that an 8 hour sleep would. Doctors say just taking short naps can help your health, provide more energy for your body, and increase your knowledge and memory.

Opening 2:

As children  it’s almost mandatory for infants and small children to take naps consistently throughout the day. The benefits of napping on children are extensively researched and encouraged by the general public, but as we grow up and get older we seem to start neglecting this art that is napping. The truth is when done correctly and regularly the benefits of napping are extremely beneficial for the mind and body, especially for teenagers and young adults who experience high amounts of stress in their daily lives. Napping is so important for a growing mind because it can help reduce stress/anxiety, slow down the pace of which one moves, and increase energy/ productivity.
