Money seems to have a big role in our society; without it, we can’t get much done. Money is valuable in different ways, even if it can’t be held physically in bills and coins.  Societies around the world must have faith in the government and in the banking systems that everyones money is being handled in the proper manner; if not, we would be hiding money under our mattresses or around the house. There is a cloud of mystery in the everyday workings of banks, including how they manage to take care of so much money. Most people think money is simple; people either got it or they don’t—that’s it. However, being introduced to this assignmen, the Yap Fei, US gold, French francs, Brazilian cruzeiros, and debit accounts now all seem similar. We don’t actually see our money being transferred. When a worker is paid by an employer, it is usually not with cash or a physical paycheck, the money is all digital transferred from one account to the other. We can’t really touch it, all we can do is trust it ends up in the right place.
