All sport uniforms for women are sexist, but some more than others. Forcing women to wear bikinis is an obvious example, but sexism can be found even where you can’t see the difference. This has been a depressing but consistent pattern throughout history, but the solution isn’t that hard to find. Having men and women wear the same exact official uniform in sports would not only help combat this issue, but it would also level the playing field.

Men and women have different uniforms in almost all sports, and that is sexist. Whether it is obvious like sand volleyball, or more hidden like ice hockey, difference in uniforms create a divide and unfair playing field between men and women. The differences are not always apparent, but they are consistent throughout history. The best way to combat this issue, is to eliminate the differences all together by officially having men and women wear the exact same things.
