   I will grade this, redbird, and try to show in my Notes below how you might improve your work.

   Factual Claim:

   “Because she also helps thousands of other people—measured by website and social-media interactions”

   This a factual claim because it a claim that can be circumstances and also supported.

   —I agree there’s a Factual Claim here: lots of people interact with Brannon on social media. But it’s also an Evaluative Claim because it suggests that all that interaction amounts to HELP. The author isn’t willing to say Brannan actually DOES help. She points to the only evidence of help that she has: website traffic.

   Evaluative Claim:

   “Pray to Christ for one of the times when it’s good sex, not one of the times when a car door slams outside and triggers him, or the emotion becomes so unbearable that he freezes, gets up, and walks wordlessly out the door.”

   This can be evaluated by a professional to determine the severity of his condition and its a judgemental charcuteries claim.

   —A “charcuteries” claim involves cold cuts, redbird.
   —This is clearly a Comparative Claim because it compares THIS TIME to all those OTHER TIMES when triggers or excess emotionality interrupted sex.

   Casual Claim:

   “Caleb was edgy, distant, but he did not forget entire conversations minutes later, did not have to wait for a stable mental-health day and good moment between medication doses to be intimate with his wife.”

   Stating that Caleb was edgy and distant after returning from his second tour which is showing consequences that can happened.

   —This is Comparative in the same way. It compares the NOW (he was edgy, distant, forgetful, and MENTALLY UNSTABLE) with the THEN (he was edgy then too, and distant, but NOT forgetful and NOT mentally unstable).
