  1. Doctors and Hospitals may prescribe you drugs that you do not need.
  2. Doctors who prescribe more drugs to patients make more money off this drug by the end of the year compared to other doctors who do not prescribe the same drugs to their patients.
  3. Out of 2,444 doctors in the medicare system it is estimated that 37% of doctors get a kick back industry payment for just prescribing the medicine to you the patient.
  4. This could mean that your doctor may prescribe you a medication that you might no need just for their own financial benefit.
  5. To take it a step further is it out of the realm of possibility that a doctor could prescribe you something that helps you with one thing, but will later cause future health problems so you the patient will comeback seeking help. Just so the doctor can prescribe you the patient with new medicine and continue to make a financial profit off of you.
  6. Not all doctors and hospitals do this, but certainly some do just so their pockets can get fatter at possibly the cost of your own health.
  7. So I ask the question, do doctors and hospitals make money off of healthy people? No. So why would they want to cure you, when they could just keep treating you and making more money off of your sickness.
  8. Once again this is very controversial so please remember not every hospital or doctor does this.
