In Richard Davies’s New York Times article “The Fiction That Makes the World Go Round” he opens our mind to the concept of currency, and describes it as a “national bedrock” that we find extreme value in alongside our most national processions. Money is physical and something we can see yet it is all mind manipulation to show a person standing within society.
