If you’re using “talks about, discusses, or covers” language in your Proposal (almost everybody does so at least once), take time in class today to fix it; it’s always a deficiency.
Example: The article talks a lot about how the shoes are actually distributed and whether or not the methods used are effective.
Remedy: The article criticizes the fact that shoes are distributed to students who are not barefoot, and furthermore that they’re distributed no more than once every year or so when, considering the amount of wear they get, children need a new pair every six months.
Example: How I Will Use It: This is an excellent example of extreme criticism that TOMS is facing, and gives good insight to how some customers actually feel about being “duped” by a company like TOMS. I will use this article to provide a counter-argument.
Remedy: How I Will Use It: I will use this example of how Toms customers are duped to prove . . . . [insert what will be proved]
