Purposeful Summary
Before class TUE FEB 04, post a set of three purposeful summaries of articles from the Counterintuitive Topics resource list. Find the resources for your assignment in the sidebar under the heading Counterintuitive Topics.
You may choose any three articles from the collection of 60 or so links; some links lead to multiple resources. Preview the contents of the sources by hovering your mouse pointer over the link until an informative flag appears.
The readings may be related or unrelated; however, consider that the sooner you begin to focus your attention on a particular topic, the sooner you can begin the work of studying and arguing a particular counterintuitive premise on that topic, the real work of the semester.
If your interest (or links inside the already-linked source) lead you to new related sources you consider useful, you might want to summarize them as items in your set instead of picking three unrelated sources from the sidebar list. If you adopt this option, be sure to provide me the link as part of your post so I can read what you’re summarizing.
